Warning: Super-huge spoiler zone
- Will Deb assume Dexter killed Rita? She must do, especially considering he said "I did it" while the police were dashing to the scene of the crime.
- In order to convince her he didn't, he'd have to reveal that Trinity is in fact dead - killed by him. This is sure to upset her though, considering she hasn't had the chance to get over the whole Lundy thing as fully as she'd have liked to while under the impression Trinity was still living it large.
- Will she eventually suss out that Dexter is in fact the Bay Harbour Butcher/Dark Defender and that Doaks was an innocent man (crazy, but innocent)?
- Will she let him carry on killing, causing more and more valuable cases to slip through her department's hands, or will she force him to quit?
Of course, getting Dexter to quit killing is as likely as getting Batista to stop changing his entire life between seasons.
