More Misfits

The new soggy Misfits teasers from E4 show that there's still a lot of life left in the British superhero comedy/drama. After the previous batch of, let's be honest, hit and miss episodes we've been left hanging - Alisha & Simon's timey wimey tale finally came to a close in epic style which saw the two of them bow out. Who will fill their shoes? That'll be Jess and Finn. The two newcomers will be introduced to the gang along with what seems to be a brand new storm, which will no doubt bring about a fresh collection of powers and yet more whacky adventures.

Hopefully the folk's behind Misfits have now realised they can do serious stuff just as well as sexual innuendo and slapstick. If the previous series' finale is anything to go by, we'll be getting more twists and turns and shocks and so on and so forth. More of the sexual inneundo and slapstick too though, of course.

It would appear as though Rudy has taken over as leader of the pack and is now at the forefront of the show, which should be fine. He seems to suit it and he's been naturally edging into that position since Nathan's departure - and now that Alisha & Simon are out of the picture, he's very much in charge. Fingers crossed this 4th year of Misfits is something us Brits can be proud of!
